Hello Readers,
Hope all of you are well. So, in the last blog, we informed you about the Earth Day. And today, we'll let you know how it went!
First of all, we went very early. I finished off the remaining bracelets and Radha completed making the price tags. Then I fastened them to all of our products. It was lunchtime by the time we completed all of our remaining work.
After lunch, we both took some rest and had time to ponder about tonight. We felt uneasy, how would we attract any customers? Then there was a birthday party. After that, there was only an hour left till the event started. It began hitting us.
Around 5:45, we started organizing and setting everything. I was running up the stairs fetching our items, and Radha carried them to our assigned stall. In a matter of a few minutes, we placed up everything. We got to click a few pictures. And, we are showing them to you!
This was our stall. The wooden car was given by one of the children. He wanted us to showcase it because was not there on the main day. He also made a few sketches like the Messi you see.
Then some of the children younger than us put up a few information stalls. These are some of them.
This was the Compost Stall. The children here demonstrated how food and leaves and turned into mud by decomposition.
This was the solar energy stall. The children here explained why having solar panels and using solar energy is crucial.
The staff and children also made some beautiful decorations. They hung all of this around the entire area. Here are the pictures of some of them.
All of these are handmade mostly by children. Each one gives out a different message.
Anyway, the daycare staff took a huge printout of that and hung it behind our stall for everyone to see.
Thank you, everybody, for reading our blog till the end! I hope you enjoyed reading and viewing the pictures. Thank you for your love and support, it has helped us a lot.
Love,
