Tutorial: Black Leaf/Leopard Nails!

 Hey there,

This is our first blog in a long time but leave that behind! Looking to spruce up your plain nails? Why not try a DIY tutorial? Not only will you save some cash, but you'll get the satisfaction of making something yourself!

Today, we chose a black base with Leaves or Leopard spots. Remember, they are your nails. You can choose any base and secondary color you like!

You would need a base color (we chose black), secondary color (we chose a latte color), and a small stick with one end as big as a pencil nib (you could even choose a thinner one).

Now it's time to get creative! Feel free to try new things and experiment. If you mess up, that's okay โ€“ I'm sure you'll have Acetone or Nail Paint remover! When you're done, you'll have some awesome and one-of-a-kind nail art for your hand. So why not give DIY a shot and see what you can create?

Step 1- Paint your base color

For this step, we chose black. Again, you can choose any base color you like. You just have to paint it like normal plain nail polish.

Here's a picture for your reference.

Step 2- Your spots now!

If you are doing the leaf version of this tutorial, make sure your leaves are elegant and have a slight angle. However, if you are doing the leopard version, ensure that your spots are like circles.

For all the people actually trying this DIY.

Step 3- Stems (Only for the leafy people๐ŸŒฟ!)

Since leaves are incomplete without their stems, this step is for those who want the leaves to be complete. Just take a thin stick and dip it in the secondary color. Then, make the lines from the leaf to the bottom of your nail.

Make sure it's a thin and small stick!

And, you're done! Do tell us in the comments if we should put more such blogs on the blog page. Also tell us how yours went, CHAOTIC or neat and proper!

This is how mine (Aaratrika) went. What about you?
